What We Do
Become a Tutor
“I loved working with the children. On the last day, one student’s grandmother personally thanked me for making a difference in his life and that meant a lot to me.” – HU alumni, now a law student
Many of the children we serve lack strong, influential, and supportive relationships, and these factors contribute to their poor academic performance. Washington DC college students have the opportunity to become influential role models for children in DC public schools through Heads Up, a non-profit education enrichment program.
